Description
English: "The Priory Church, Christchurch.". Engraving from page 129 of The New Forest: Its history and its scenery by John R. Wise. Printed by Smith, Elder and Co., London, 1863. Picture was drawn by Walter Crane and engraved by W. J. Linton, probably in 1862. According to John R. Wise, in the preface to his book, "the clock-face on the tower of the Priory Church [has] been omitted" from this picture.
