Accordingly, this law is written in agreement between the governments of Greenland and Denmark as equal parties.

The Self-Rule of Authorities and the Courts

§ 1. The Greenland Self-Government has legislative and executive power within the jurisdiction it has taken over. Courts that are established there by the Self-Government have judicial power in Greenland in all areas. Accordingly, legislative power lies with Inatsisartut, executive power with Naalakkersuisut, and judicial power with the courts.
