JOY.
MY heart seems bursting with its pent-up joy.Would I could sing a song as gay and sweetAs that small bird that poises on the spray,Then dives among the grasses at my feet.You think, O bird! singing your joyous song,That life, from green-swathed earth to heaven above,Was made for you. Sweet bird, I think not so;—This earth and sky and all, were made for love.
