Moon

The Moon is just like a great, great big silvery plate hanging high up in the air reflecting the light from the Sun down into our windows.

Sometimes, before it is time to go to bed, we watch the clouds, just like fleecy sheep, or magic sail boats floating by.

Then, when we go to bed and the Moon beams shine through the curtains, the dear old gentle Sandman comes with his sleepy dust and takes us away in his dream ship to the Land of Nod. There we have the most wonderful adventures for, in our dreams, everything seems to be real-for-sure.

M
is for Moon with its soft pleasant light Shining in windows to gladden the night.
N

is for Nod—that’s the land of our dreams. All there are happy and joyous it seems.
