Winter and Christmas
How pretty the country is when the blue, grey clouds sweep over the earth and the fleecy white snowflakes cover the fields and mountains.
The frosty air makes our cheeks glow with health and we have to run and slide and coast to keep warm while we are having fun.
Then, when the crispy snow sparkles and we hear the cheery jingle of sleigh bells, we may be sure that Santa Claus is preparing to make his visit to the homes of all good children. For, Christmas will soon be here with the happiness it brings and the gladness we feel in our hearts when we give Christmas presents to each other.
After all, don’t you believe Christmas day is really the happiest day in the whole year? I do!
