Usage
[edit]This template exists to create a small amount of padding (narrower than a standard space) between the "’t" and "is" in a popular mid-19th century contraction. E.g.:
- My fate ’tis to write silly templates.
The .2em width is enough for the reader to notice that there's more than one word being represented, but narrower than the usual space between words. It is an archaic application, but there is a fair amount of literary archaeology on Wikisource.
