Chap. LXXVII.—An Act for the relief of Benjamin W. Crowninshield.
Certificates of stock to be renewed.Be it enacted, &c., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby authorized to cause to be renewed certain certificates of stock issued by the cashier of the Merchants’ Bank of the town of Salem, to Benjamin W. Crowninshield, as guardian of the children of Jacob Crowninshield, which said certificates have been lost: Provided, however, That the renewal of the said certificates shall be subject to all the rules and regulations established at the treasury department for the renewal of certificates of funded stock.
