Chap. XIX.—An Act for the relief of Jonathan Rogers, junior, of Waterford, in the State of Connecticut.
To be released from imprisonment.Be it enacted, &c., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby authorized and required to discharge from his imprisonment Jonathan Rogers, junior, of Waterford, Connecticut, now confined in prison at New Haven, in said state, for a debt due from him to the United States, on judgment obtained in their favor against him, before the district court for said district of Connecticut: Provided, however, That nothing contained in this act shall exonerate any property which the said Jonathan Rogers, junior, now has or hereafter may acquire from the judgment and execution obtained against him, by the United States, as aforesaid.
