All crewmembers who were in reboarding teams on Catron were examined, with their clothing, for radioactivity by radiologiical monitors. No personnel showed any radioactivity.Theshoesoftwomen showed radioactivity and were disposed of.

Fifteen men boarded for 4 hours in the morning to pump out engine room: eight men boarded for 1 hour in the afternoon to continue pumping out the engine room.
