The Laws of the Blessing for an Eruv |

Paragraph 1 - It is a commandment to make alley partnerships and one blesses "for the commandment of eruv" on it. He says, "With this partnership, it will be permitted for all of the residents of the alley to take out and bring in from the yards to the alley (and from them to the houses) (Beit Yosef in the name of Shibbolei Leket) on Shabbat." When should he bless? When he gathers it from the residents of the alley or when he transfers possession to them. Rem"a: If they collected to make an eruv and forgot to bless on it, it is an eruv, as the blessing is not prohibitively necessary (Agur in the name of Shibbolei Leket, see the end of chapter 367). |
סעיף א - מצוה לחזר אחר שתופי מבואות, ומברך עליו על מצות ערוב, ואומר בזה השתוף יהיה מתר לכל בני המבוי להוציא ולהכניס מחצרות למבוי (ומהם לבתים) (בית יוסף בשם שבולי לקט) בשבת. אימתי מברך עליו, בשעה שמקבץ אותו מבני המבוי או בשעה שמזכה להם. הגה: ואם גבו אותו לשם ערוב ושכחו ולא ברכו עליו הוי ערוב, כי אין הברכה מעכבת (אגור ושבולי לקט עיין סוף סימן שס"ז). |
