Surdas
(1479 – 16th century)

16th-century blind Hindu devotional poet and singer.

Some sources state that there were two poets by this name: a blind poet who was the author of the Sur Sagar, and a former governor of Sandila who was the author of some passages in the Guru Granth Sahib. Other sources identify them as the same person.
