Description
Español: Retrato del marino, naturalista y escritor español Antonio de Ulloa (1716-1795), que llegó a ser almirante de la Real Armada Española y comendador de Ocaña en la Orden de Santiago. Esta obra fue donada en 1898 al Ayuntamiento de Sevilla por la infanta María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón, que era hija del rey Fernando VII de España, y procedía de la Galería del Palacio de San Telmo, que era propiedad en esa época de la infanta y de su esposo, el duque Antonio de Orleans.
English: Portrait of the Spanish sailor, naturalist and writer Antonio de Ulloa (1716-1795), who became admiral of the Royal Spanish Navy and commander of Ocaña in the Order of Santiago. This work was donated in 1898 to the City Council of Seville by the Infanta Luisa Fernanda of Spain, who was the daughter of Ferdinand VII of Spain, and came from the Gallery of the San Telmo Palace, which was owned at that time by the Infanta and of her husband, Duke Anthony of Orleans.
