English: Twin-screw sand-pump dredger Kate, 1,154 GRT, built in 1897 by Wm. Simons & Co of Renfrew for the East London Harbour Board, Cape Colony. She passed to the government of the newly-formed Union of South Africa in 1910. Smith's Coasters of Durban bought her in 1921. She was scrapped in 1930. |
