Summary
| Description |
English: The flag of the State of Alabama in 1:1 proportions. There are no proportions defined in law for the flag of Alabama aside from the satire being at least 6 inches wide. Due to the connection with Confederate battle flags, the flag is often depicted as square. In 1987 the Office of the Alabama Attorney General issued an opinion that the modern flag of Alabama should be a non-square rectangle, though this is not universally followed. |
