Description
English: Photograph illustrating one of the stories from Papuan Fairy Tales (1910) by Annie Ker (1874–1945). Ker, a missionary in Milne Bay, British New Guinea, in the first decade of the 20th century, and wrote down local folktales. Local villagers posed for her photographs, which may have been taken by her missionary husband Percy John Money (d. 1950).
