Carcinosoma (Eusarcus) newlini. Claypole Page 245 See plates 36, 38–39 1 A small specimen showing the four pairs of walking legs, the first of which is the shortest, and the swimming legs; the carapace and the ventral side of the abdomen with distinct attachment areas of the gill plates on the sternites. The eyes are not recognizable. Two pairs of gnathobases indicate the position of the mouth. The abrupt contraction of the preabdomen to the postabdomen and the form of the postabdominal segments are seen. The posterior doublures of these segments appear as dark bands Horizon and locality. Kokomo waterlime. Kokomo, Ind.
