(DUKE STREET L. M.)
Isaac Watts, 1719 John Hatton, -1793

  1. Jesus shall reign where'er the sun
    Does his suecessive journeys run,
    His king - dom spread from shore to shore,
    Till moons shall wax and wane no more,
  2. For him shall end less prayer be made,
    And praises throng to crown his head;
    His name, like sweet per fume, shall rise
  3. People and realms of every tongue
    Dwell on his love with sweet - est song,
    And infant voices shall proclaim
    With every morning sacrifice;
  4. Blessings a bound where'er he reigns;
    The prisoner leaps to loose his chains,
    The weary find eternal rest,
    Their early blessings on his name.
  5. Let every creature rise and bring Peculiar honors to our King;
    An - gels de scend with songs a - gain,
    And all the sons of want are blest.
    And earth repeat the loud Amen Amen
