When the moon looks full at the sunIn the month that the asters flowerPrince Sung bade bring Dame SikInto the gay tiled tower.
"Give thy handmaid leave to bathe,And change her unworthy dress,She will serve thee with napkin and combAs befits thy, worshipfulness."
She bathed and changed her robesIn a long slow Autumn hour.Then smiled in the face of Prince SungAnd leapt from the top of the tower.
