The Master of the World was published in 1904, one of the last novels by French pioneer science fiction writer, Jules Verne.

This etext has been provided by Project Gutenberg. This etext was taken from the Parke (1911) fifteen volume edition of The Works of Jules Verne. This abridged text also contains some surplus material not in the original French edition. A more faithful translation by Cranstoun Metcalfe was published by Sampson Low (London) in 1914.
