TAKES PICTURES ON THE WING
IN Germany carrier Pigeons have been used to get "birdseye" views with cameras. The camera is strapped to the bird's breast and is made so that it points downward when the little photographer is on the wing and catches whatever he may be passing over when the film is exposed. An automatic (self working) device wound up like a watch, exposes a new film at regular intervals. From the two examples given at the bottom of this page you can see how the world looks to a bird or to a man in a flying machine.
