Sir:

  In further reference to the cases of Lee Look, Ah Fong, and Lou Yin you are respedtfully [sic] informed that the orders of deportation against them will be dated August 7, 1911 but that they [sic] United States Commissioner H.T. Christian will attach an order to stay their deportation until such time as they will not be needed as witnesses in the case against Francisco Rios and Antonio Solis for smuggling and perhaps against the same parties and in addition Juan Rios and the Chinese caught at Anaheim on the charge of conspiracy.
