Madame LEONORE, of Chertsey, writes :—"You may. be interested to hear that my sister's friend went to the Grand Theatre at Woking on Saturday to see 'Stuff and Nonsense.' In one scene two women are quarrelling, and one said to the other, Yes, you are a very fine figure, but you only wear Spirella to attract the men.'" (Editor's note: "Stuff and Nonsense" indeed !)
Misses A. and L. LEE, Weston-Super-Mare, writes :—"With the enclosed order for three Easel Show Cards, I thought I would like to tell you that we have found these Cards the best publicity matter we have tried in Weston-Super-Mare, shown by satisfied clients." Miss AIR, Tunbridge Wells, writes :—"This client, who is just back from India, has to take part in a play at The Opera House at a moment's notice, and cannot dance unless she has a Spirella Girdle, so please send at once." (Editor's note: "Spirella—the perfect garment for all occasions.")
Miss WARREN, of Cheadle Hulme, writes:—"I would like to tell you that my client, Mrs. —, to whom you sent a Guarantee Tag on 14th March, is very pleased with her Brassiere-Girdle, Style 1364. She was at a party at The Midland Hotel, where they were giving a prize for the most perfect figure, and Mrs. — won the first prize, getting 43 votes out of 50. She considered the Spirella Garment helped to give her the correct lines, and certainly it suited her to perfection." (Editor's note: "See what comes of women having the vote—and Spirella.")
Miss E. BROWN, Abergavenny, writes :—"The garment I supplied to Mrs. —, Style 9339, has been specially praised by her Doctor. This lady has had several severe abdominal and internal operations, and the Doctor was at a loss to know how she could have a garment with the proper control required. He said it would be months before she could go out, but I met Mrs. — out of doors yesterday, and she told me the Doctor was amazed. She said she found her garment so very comfortable as well as such a support, giving her the uplift she needed." Miss K. DEWDNEY, Steyning, writes :—"I am extremely pleased about this repeat order; I supplied Mrs. — last July with a 282 Corset. She has pendulous abdomen, and was unable to walk without getting very tired. She says it took a little while to get used to the corset, but she wouldn't be without it for anything now. She tried to do a "little gardening in an old corset (not Spirella), but, of course, had to put on the 282 again. Besides the comfort, she finds her figure also is much improved; and she is very pleased, because she can take walks now—and enjoy them." (Editor's note: "A walking advertisement now.")
