Information about this edition
Edition: English translation of Greek drama
Source: Project Gutenberg
Contributor(s): Mtmelendez
Level of progress: 50%
Notes: As with all ancient Greek dramas, the correct interpretation of the Greek work may vary, depending on the original work's condition. Therefore, varying English translations may exist.
Proofreaders:

I'm organizing this work as follows given its different parts and different translations:

  • Original page for the The Oresteia will link to different translations of the work
  • Translations will be in subpages by last name of translator (The Oresteia/Morshead; The Oresteia (Morshead)/Agamemnon)
  • Titles for the 3 existing chapters (Agamemnon, Coephori, Euminides) will all redirect to The Oresteia.
  • There may be different interpretations of the titles used for the chapters, so I recommend using the original greek titles for pages, even if the English translation is the title referred to in the header2 template.

Any suggestions are welcome. - Mtmelendez 12:49, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Addendum: Because the title of Morshead's translation is The House of Atreus, this work has been moved to that title, with The Oresteia/Morshead and The Oresteia (Morshead) as redirects here. --EncycloPetey (talk) 22:33, 28 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
