MORA, JOSÉ (1638–1725), Spanish sculptor, was a pupil of Alonzo Cano. He died in Granada in 1725 and was buried in the Albaicin church. His work can be usefully studied in the eight statues in the Capella del Cardenal in the Cordova Cathedral and in the figures of St Bruno and St Joseph in the Cartuja near Granada.
