COMMANO, Giovanni Giuseppe, an Italian basso, engaged at the King's Theatre in Handel's company in 1731. He sang the part of the Mago, originally intended for a tenor, in the revival of 'Rinaldo' in that year; and that of Timagene in 'Poro.' His name does not occur again.
