LAURAM. A Nephite officer under Mormon, killed in battle with the Lamanites. He is only mentioned in the second epistle of Mormon to his son Moroni, and there simply referred to as having, with many other choice men, been slain in a disastrous battle with the enemy. The fact of his name being mentioned infers that he was an officer of distinction.
