BAYLY. (Lieutenant, 1841.)
Charles Bissett Bayly entered the Navy 1 Sept. 1823; passed his examination 1 Dec. 1830; and from 29 July, 1840, until the early part of 1842, served in the Coast Guard. He was promoted, during the latter period, to the rank he now holds by commission dated 23 Nov. 1841; and since 15 May, 1843, has been again employed in the Coast Guard.
