KINGSTON. (Lieutenant, 1840.)
Arthur Burrard Kingston entered the Navy 19 July, 1827; passed his examination in 1833; and was made Lieutenant, 3 July, 1840, into the Wolverene 16, Capt. Wm. Tucker, on the coast of Africa. Since the paying-off of the latter vessel in 1841 (with the exception of a short time passed towards the close of 1843 in the Volage 26, Capt. Sir Wm. Dickson)
