Aubrey, John, s. Richard, of Broad Chalke, Wilts, gent. Trinity Col., matric. 4 June, 1641, aged 16; F.R.S. 1663, a student of the Middle Temple 1646; for a very curious account of his many accidents see Rawlinson MS., xx. 30 (his father died 21 Oct., 1652, see also Rawlinson MS., iv. 81), his collections for a history of Wiltshire were printed by Sir Thos. Phillipps; died at Oxford in June, 1697. See D.N.B. & Ath., i., p. lx.
