Langton, William Gore, s. Edward Gore, of Kiddington, Oxon, arm. New Coll., matric. 19 Oct., 1776, aged 17; created M.A. 16 Dec., 1780, of Newton Park, Somerset, in right of his wife, whose surname and arms he assumed, M.P. Somerset 1795-1806, 1812-20, 1831-2, Tregony 1808-12, East Somerset 1832 until his death 14 March, 1847. See Foster's Peerage, E. Arran.
