Author talk:Abul Walid Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Rushd

I strongly feel that we do a disservice to authors if we list them under names which they never personally endorsed, but were later bastardisations of their name in the Anglo-dominated world. Ibn Rushd was the man's name, not Averroes - it is fit to mention the name Averroes in the notes, but his actual page should rest at Ibn Rushd.Sherurcij ^{Collaboration of the Week: Author:Haile Selassie} 20:48, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
