Norman, Capt. Charles Boswell, late of the Bengal staff corps and 90th Light Infantry; special correspondent of the Times in Asia Minor during the Russo-Turkish war 1877.

Norman's book is an opportune contribution to the literature of this question, beginning as it does with the early relations between France and Tonquin, before the French Revolution, and continuing the narrative of the present war down to the most recent operations. … His main purpose, however, is to … urge the danger which the conduct and present temper of the French bode to England and to civiliaition generally. He does not strengthen his case by the violently anti-French tone which pervades his book." Ath., No. 2940.

Following the Norman link of the cleric to the wedding, it gives Page:Alumni Oxoniensis (1715-1886) volume 3.djvu/252. This seems less likely to be a brother, and while it may be related, it would seem more likely to be an uncle or a cousin.
