In the Dark

[edit]

Re this listing (deleted):

  • In the Dark: Tales of Terror (1902) aka Edith Nesbit's Tales of Terror (1902) PG Australia (only title story)

In the Dark: Tales of Terror and Edith Nesbit's Tales of Terror are 1988 and 1983 Nesbit collections edited by Hugh Lamb, which both include the story "In the Dark". In the Internet Speculative Fiction Database (ISFDB.org), both publications have "Primary Verification" (from book in hand) by the same contributor (not I) [1] [2]. ISFDB gives incomplete contents for the 1910 collection Fear [3], including the story "In the Dark" as original to that collection (at least to year 1910).
--perhaps from The FictionMags Index, which lists the story as original to the 1910 collection [4].

Here I have listed under the entry Fear (1910) those three story titles that ISFDB now lists, and I have moved to that location the link to "In the Dark" at PG Australia.

Nesbit at PG Australia
"In the Dark" is one of 7 Nesbit short stories now available at PG Australia, which identifies none of the source texts. Four of the 7 are from the 7-story 1893 collection Grim Tales. The two others are The Power of Darkness (collected 1906 in Man and Maid) and "The Dragon Tamers" (collected 1901 in The Book of Dragons). --P64 (talk) 21:19, 28 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Poems

What is the difference between the section headed "Poems" and the later section "Individual poems" ? Should they be combined ? -- Beardo (talk) 23:34, 4 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
