Identification
[edit]No clues so far. Bosworth Smith taught at Harrow, so Harrovian would be a good guess. Charles Matthews (talk) 07:58, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
English records
[edit]THE GRO BMDs show only three "Eric GRAHAM"s born prior to 1891.
- Eric Gore Graham, b. 1889, Bromley, Kent, son of a solicitor, and shown as a solicitor student in 1911.
- Eric Graham, b. 1889, Burslem, Staffordshire (went on to be Bishop of Brechin)
- showing as a student at Hurst Court College, Sussex, in 1901
- showing as a student in Middleborough in 1911, though on excursion
- Eric Graham, b. 1890, Keighley, Lancashire, son of a corn miller's clerk (=> less likely)
Newspapers ... I can see
- Hon. Eric Graham at the 1889 anniversary event of the death of General Gordon
- an Eric Graham in London 1895 acting as secretary for the 'agents' Messrs Beverley and Pacey
- same Eric Graham also writing burlesque plays in late 1890s, and seems to be acting in them, and also working as a manager of firm of variety agents, though not evident in the censuses of the period.

- @Billinghurst: I believe it is w:Eric Graham, the Bishop of Brechin. He was an Oxford B.A. in 1911, which is a good fit; and was educated at Cheltenham College before Oxford, went to theological college at Wells, giving West Country connections. Charles Matthews (talk) 06:30, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
