He usually went by the name ‘F. B. Schell’ or ‘Frederic(k) B. Schell.’ He rarely used his second forename, ‘Boley,’ which is his mother’s maiden surname, although some collections do cite it. Some sources incorrectly give his second forename as ‘Benjamin.’
