George Bagley?

[edit]

There is a death record for George Bagley in 1960 where he is described as being 86 years old (BDM Deaths 1960/21300).
There is a birth record for a George Bagley in 1873 which fits this timeline ( Births 1873/42884).
He would have been about 29 years old when the paper was presented to the Institute in 1902, which makes it feasible for this George Bagley to the author "G Bagley".

George Bagley's will describes him as an "Analytical Chemist" which fits with the profession of the author of an analytical chemistry topic.
