The work is attributed to "H. N. DRAPER, F.C.S." There is a Harry Napier Draper FCS, according to WorldCat (also without the suffix). His major work appears to be Manual of the Medicinal Preparations of Iron (1864) and his name shows up in the Pharmaceutical Journal and Nature in approximately the right period. (See here for a letter printed in Nature, 1873.) There is nothing positive, however, that confirms that this is the correct H. N. Draper. - AdamBMorgan (talk) 02:34, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

Original article in Chambers's' Journal has byline "H. N. DRAPER, F.C.S., M.R.I.A.". Multiple references in The chemist and druggist confirm that it is indeed Harry Napier Draper, including obituary on July 2, 1892. the headstone at Dublin cemetery reads "HARRY NAPIER DRAPER | F.C.S. F.I.C. M.R.I.A. | who died June 27 1892 | aged 54 years". Captain Nemo (talk) 02:23, 8 July 2015 (UTC).
