- I can offer John Henry Thorpe, vicar in Stockport, archdeacon of Macclesfield, father of w:John Henry Thorpe. He was of Irish background and a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin. May have died around 1919. Charles Matthews (talk) 09:14, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
