The death is announced of Mr. John Cargill Brought, the resident manager of the London Institution, Finsbury, at the early age of thirty-eight. Mr. Brough was the third of four brothers, all known to fame — Robert, the translator of Beranger's songs; William, the burlesque writer; and Lionel, the actor. Mr. Brough was a widower and has left six children who were dependent upon him — three of his own and three orphans of a relative whom he had adopted.
