Mr. John Ferguson Nisbet, the well-known journalist and dramatic critic of the times since 1882, died on Friday after a lengthy and prolonged illness. For many years he had written the "Handbook" article for the Referee. Among his works may be mentioned "Insanity of Genius," and "Marriage and Heredity." As a dramatist he appeared with Dorothy Gray, produced at the Princess's on April 10, 1888. Mr. Nisbet, who had a perfect command of seven languages, was only 48.Gale Document Number: BC3206333409
