Background

[edit]

I'm identifying this author with the Reginald Littleboy who was an undergraduate at Oriel College, Oxford. He can be tied into the person mentioned on ancestry.com:

Reginald Littleboy
Father
Frederic Littleboy
Mother
Susan Amy Pim
Birth
9 Aug 1897 Sunderland, Durham, England
Death
15 Aug 1975 Hove, Sussex, England
Residence
1911 Packwood, Warwickshire, England

I have checked most of that: the father Frederic Littleboy was a corn miller in Sunderland, until moving south. Frederic's mother Sophia Richardson was married to a brother of w:Joseph Richardson (Liberal politician). The mother was from an Irish Quaker family.

The identification is via some newspaper articles. Charles Matthews (talk) 16:23, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
