this is simply listed as Princeton's translation, but it's the same year as much of Lowrie's which is all renewed - think it's his, or PD? Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Søren Kierkegaard 22:17, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Selections from the writings of Kierkegaard

[edit]

At Talk:Preparation for a Christian Life, Suicidalhamster has mentioned that this djvu contains many works by this author. It is translated by Author:Lee Milton Hollander, and it was published as University of Texas Bulletin, No. 2326: July 8, 1923 and clearly shows it was registered for a copyright. The jurisdiction is obviously USA, so before this can be uploaded onto Commons, I think we need to check that the copyright was not renewed. John Vandenberg (chat) 23:51, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

In 1960, Hollander wrote a revised edition, which was copyrighted in 1960, which was renewed in 1988 by his NOK after his death. But there is no sign that the 1923 edition was ever renewed. Sherurcij Collaboration of the Week: Author:Søren Kierkegaard 00:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
