British vs. American editions

When adding links to external scans on this page, I have usually chosen the earliest work with a clear scan. This is often the British edition (sometimes the first edition) of the work. However, the American editions seem to have additional illustrations that would be an advantage. Proofreaders have the option of (1) using the scan linked on the author page, (2) using a different scan from the Internet Archive (or elsewhere), or (c) Proofread both editions. - AdamBMorgan (talk) 12:41, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
