Copyright Discussion
According to the discussion in Special:Diff/9467794#Works linked from Author:Sukavich Rangsitpol, I have sought to independently verify the source of the text given using various clues, and discovered that:
- Education Policy, Re-engineering of administrative systems (1995)
- This was a copy of this web page, with the word "Ministry of Education" changed to "Sukavich Rangsitpol". I note that the physical copy appears to be available in some private archive (like the results in WorldCat). A summary of the paper is available in the UNESCO Report for the conference the work was accepted for presentation. Even if we take the "less restrictive" copyright by UNESCO, UNESCO permits only personal, noncommercial use only. It may be PD-Thailand, but unless we can verify the fact that it was the Ministry of Education who published it, the copyright appears not to be Sukavich himself, and thus he cannot bestow copyright he cannot have (nemo dat principle)
- Thailand Ministry of Education’s Policies 1995
- Same as above
- Inaugural Address and Keynote Speech (Asia-Pacific Regional Consultation Adult Education) (1996)
- UNESCO copyright, personal and noncommercial use only, not allowed on WS.
- Teachers' Learning in a Changing World (1996)
- Published by SEAMEO. No copyright notice on the particular page, but exists on Main Page. SEAMEO is not known to release its work into a free license, and sometimes outright reserved the rights on its work.
- Declaration of education The announcement of Fifty Industrial Community College on 18 June 1996
- Likely be PD-Thailand (regulations), but should not be attributed to Sukavich even though he signed his name in the capacity of Minister of Education. I cannot find the alternate copy of this document to verify it. I also note that the language for this one should copyedit in any cases
- New aspirations for education in Thailand towards educational excellence by the year 2007
- This is the original source of the document mentioned in the first item. It appeared in UNESCO report and thus subject to UNESCO copyright (personal, noncommercial use).
- His Excellency Sukavich Rangsitpol Speeches
- Appeared in UNESCO report and thus subject to UNESCO copyright (personal, noncommercial use).
- His Excellency Sukavich Rangsitpol Education Reform
- Extracted from a journal article, copyrighted by Japan Curriculum Research and Development Association.
- ''' His Excellency Mr. Sukavich Rangsitpol ''' the directions to develop quality of Thai people in the future world.
- Duplicate with Journal Article above.
This means that most of the text are copyrighted by either UNESCO or the originating institute, and Sukavich or the people posting the content would likely not have the authority to do so, except an Announcement that establishes the Industrial Community Collage that is likely to be PD-Thailand (which requires copyedit and/or proper attribution since it's not the sole effort of Sukavich. --G(x) (talk) 07:27, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
Wikilinks are possible in author pages
If these works exist elsewhere on the web as html pages, they you can add links to those works. If the works exist elsewhere in a scanned form, then you can utilise the template {{external scan link}} after the name of the work to link to that scanned copy.
It is not appropriate to run commentary or snippets of copyright works on their author page. That is not within our scope. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:28, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
Could you retrieve the page?

- We have more than 500.000 pages. You'll need to specify which page. --EncycloPetey (talk) 19:50, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
