• [[1]] Thompson B.[Brooke] Maury, was enlisted (into the Confederate States Army (from Va) May 11, 1861, at Harper's Ferry, by Lieutenant Moore. His brother, Magruder Maury of Va enlisted in the Confederacy together in 1861 [SHSP Southern Historical Society Papers vol.23 p.120] Father was Richard Maury.
