The Greatest Name (1927)
by Louise R. Waite

First published in 1908 (with fewer songs); may have been the poem (apparently later put to music) referenced in Tablets of Abdul-Baha Abbas, vol. 1, pp. 57-58 (see p. 34 of http://bahai-library.com/pdf/a/armstrong-ingram_music_devotions_OCR-text.pdf ). General praise for the artist is in Selections from the Writings of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, sel. 74.

3

Let nations rise from shore to shore,
And sing it over o'er and o'er;
Then wars shall cease forevermore:

ALLAHO ABHA!

4

Great Name of joy, of peace, and rest;
That fills with harmony each breast;
It's glory shines from east to west:

ALLAHO ABHA!

5

Repeat it, and it reaches far;
From world to world and star to star;
Naught can its glorious radiance mar:
ALLAHO ABHA!

6

Great Name we love more every day,
To say over is to pray,
And angels listen and obey:

ALLAHO ABHA!

7

Its rhythm swings from pole to pole;
Its music soon shall fill each soul;
And heavens scroll shall backward roll:

ALLAHO ABHA!

8

ALLAHO ABHA! Let it ring
Up to the throne of God, our King;
Let men and angels joyous sing:

ALLAHO ABHA!
