(*1.) 1. Cobb. Deliverance Hodges, born 1746, at Norton, Mass., died 1801; married, 1764, in Norton, General Silas Cobb, son of Benjamin and Mary (Mason) Cobb. Silas Cobb was born 1743, died 1833. Children: Mirriam, born 1761; ~s~n; Silas, born 1768, married, 1801, Eunice Smith, Lyman, born 1771; Sarah, born 1773; Edmund, born 1779; Deliverance, born 1782; Mary, born 1785. Did General Silas Cobb have a niece Lucinda Cobb, who was born in 1768, and married Benjamin Pierce? She named three daughters Sarah, Mary and Eunice, and two of her sons were named Benjamin and Benjamin Mason, respectively, all these similar to the names in General Cobb's family.

2. Parker, Underwood. Did Susannah Parker, fifth child of Nathaniel and Bethia Parker, born 1687, marry Joseph Underwood, who was born in 1681, died Jan. 19, 1761? Would like the genealogy of Joseph Underwood.

(*4.) Putnam. Can anyone give me any information in regard to David Putnam, son of General Israel Putnam? I wish to trace his line of descent, as it seems to be the one from which my father, Henry Putnam, is descended. This David, whose number in the Putnam records is V. 249, was born Oct. 14, 1761, probably in Connecticut. I know nothing further about him. The line next appears with David Putnam, born in 1792, died 1860. Both lived in Connecticut in early years, then moved to western New York. I would be grateful if someone could supply the missing links.
