Botanical Gazette

Volumes 2 through 152 of the Botanical Gazette were published during the years 1876 through 1991 by the University of Chicago Press. Volume 1 was printed monthly under the title Botanical Bulletin from November 1875 through October 1876. But starting with the November 1876 issue (Vol. 2, No. 1), the name was changed to Botanical Gazette to avoid any potential conflicts with the existing Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club. Beginning in 1992 the title Botanical Gazette was changed to International Journal of Plant Sciences.
