Category:Political party policy resolution

From Wikisource

In developed countries, there is no alternative to multiparty democracy. - Les Campbell, 2001

Political party policy resolutions intended to be included in platforms that influence law or decisions in government, call for specific actions by other parties and by the government, etc.. Include the date and any named sponsors that are publicly associated with the resolution. The resolution need not have been passed although if any information is available then include it - especially if the resolution was passed in an amended form. Includes resolutions based on campaigns, petitions and treaty which may be adopted by many parties simultaneously.

This category includes resolutions passed by groups that have a political and military wing or that have a history of militant actions, if those resolutions are still binding on the political party. Hamas would be a good example.

See also category:political party governance for resolutions relevant to the conduct of parties and candidates rather than proposals to pass into law.
