The Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Singapore have decided to establish diplomatic relations as from 3 October, 1990, on the basis of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and the Principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, and to exchange ambassadors and provide each other with facilities for the functioning of diplomatic missions.
